1940s 1950s pink velvet bias cut corset & tulle gown
absolutely gorgeous mid 40s to early 50s pink gown. bodice is a bias cut velvet draped in a fluid, statue of liberty style corset. boning for structure. bodice features an asymmetrical shoulder detail with a velvet leaf applique and tulle sash. skirt is lined in satin with two layers of tulle. velvet embossed leaves cascade down the left of the skirt. side zip and hook closures.
my favorite part of this dress is the rich vintage pink. i almost only ever see this shade on vintage clothing, it’s just gorgeous.

size: fits like modern 2 or 4 (a little small for model, didn’t zip up all the way)
measurements:
bust: 32” waist: 24” length: 51”
condition: good vintage condition. a very slight discoloration on back of bodice consistent with age. a small rip in tulle at the bottom of the skirt. pictured. loosening of threads in back of bodice.
model is 6’ and wears a modern size 4 or 6.
